From videos relating to my genre which is rock and metal I have learnt that:
1: All good videos have a story, the Dragonforce video with no story is boring to watch while good videos like ZZ Top and Volbeat's video are excellent if Michael Jackson's Thriller video had not had a story would it have been as succesful as it has been?
2: All Rock videos that I have covered (except for Rockstar by Nickelback) have cuts from the story to the band members playing their instruments if anything to show of the members of the band and give them more screen time and to show the audience who the band actually is.
3: In all of the Rock videos except for ZZ Top and maybe Spinal Tap have a relaxed dress code of jeans and a t shirt usually of fellow rock band of a sleaveless shirt.
